Frank and Tina Tartaglia Recognized with Peer of the Year Award
CHARLESTON, South Carolina— Frank and Tina Tartaglia, owners of Proforma Print Solutions, a leading provider of graphic communications solutions, were honored with the PROforma Peer of the Year Award during the recognition banquet at the Proforma annual convention.
The Tartaglias received this award for their efforts in trying to establish a National Group Healthcare program for the network of Proforma owners. Their countless hours of research and lobbying for healthcare coverage was recognized by the owner network through their nomination of the Tartaglias for Peer of the Year. This was the only award given out to an owner based on the votes of other owners.
“We are making great headway in not only overcoming obstacles, but researching viable alternatives to one day secure a National Group Health Plan for the owners and their families,” said the Tartaglias. “We plan to continue our quest in establishing affordable healthcare for our owners and their families.”
Mr. Tartaglia, a Proforma owner since 1995, also has demonstrated his leadership within Proforma by serving as a development coach (DC). Development coaches are owners, who in addition to running their own business, mentor and assist other owners with day-to-day issues and concerns within their businesses.
Over 630 Proforma owners, PLP vendors and guests gathered in Baltimore July 24-27 for the Proforma annual convention. Proforma handed out over 100 awards of recognition to the outstanding owners and preferred vendors based on their performance.
Mr. Tartaglia has won this prestigous award twice.
He has also served as both the Treasurer and Secretary of the Owner Advisory Council, devoting his time and energy to helping his fellow owners.
He is the only franchise owner who has represented two distinct regions of the country as a council representative.
